Once I’ve been hired for this work, I go into deep meditation with the Spirit of the Land. I’m usually given specific information about what will be needed, for example, herbs, chants, whether drums or rattles are necessary, etc. All land in Arizona is native land, so contact with the Spirit Keeper is usually not too time consuming. Once I am at the property, I go through a four step process. Here’s a quick overview:
st = Clearing old energies; cleansing past “debts”, entanglements or impurities still in the energy field, releasing “beings”, whatever is necessary to free the space;
nd = Dedicating the space; declaring this space as having sacred purpose, naming a commitment to a new way of life;
rd = Gratitude; opening and entering a state of being thankful to and for the abundance of the one source flowing through everything;
th = Blessing; conferring happiness and prosperity upon the space, people, animals and plants that will reside upon and within this land. |
